THE CLIENT:
Spinning Plates
We wanted to earn some passive income, and realised we were sat on a potential goldmine of existing short form copy, in the form of old Instagram captions about food.
THE BRIEF:
THE DELIVERABLES:
We identified the most relevant pieces of short form copy in our portfolio (again - old Instagram captions) which could be adapted into visual concepts. Some of the concepts were developed in-house, and other were briefed into a team of external illustrators and designers we like to work with.
Over the course of 6 months, 5 new designs were launched as apparel through Everpress - a print-to-order e-commerce and fulfilment platform with no set-up or outlay costs.
Without committing any budget or resource into marketing the products, we’ve sold - at the time of writing - a combined 6,199 units, generating over £180,000 sales revenue in 18 months.
6,200 now actually.
THE RESULTS:
